Cynthia Ann Doyle

Cynthia Ann Doyle, 75, passed away peacefully April 20, 2024, surrounded by family.

Born March 28, 1949 in East St. Louis, IL, she was the daughter of the late John Jr. and Wanda (Alldredge) Woods. She was also preceded in death by her infant son, Brian Doyle; and brother, John E. Woods, III.

On August 8, 1970, Cynthia married the love of her life, Thomas J. Doyle. He survives her. To their union, they were blessed with 3 sons, Michael (Suzanne) of Powell, OH, Kevin (Karla) of Middlebury, IN and Robert (Valerie) Doyle of Arlington Heights, IL. Also left to cherish her memory are her seven grandchildren, who she absolutely adored: Reghan, Chloe, Emma, Avery, Kinsley, Ashlyn and Lincoln Doyle; four siblings: Kathy Duckett, Patricia Rhoda, David Woods and Carolyn Poli; and her loyal dog, Max.

Cynthia was a loving and devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. Family was everything to her. She was an avid Hallmark ornament collector, and a longtime member of St. Pius. She was dearly loved and will be greatly missed.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, April 25, from 5-7 p.m. at the McGann Hay, Granger Chapel, 13260 SR 23, enter off Cherry Rd. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday at 1PM with visitation one hour prior, at St. Pius X Catholic Church. The funeral will be live streamed on http://StPius.net or http://YouTube.com/@StPiusGranger. Burial will take place Monday at Assumption Catholic Cemetery in Glenwood, IL at 12:00 pm. EST.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Riley Children’s Hospital or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
