Granger

Benny Hawkins Bays passed away on March 27, 2023 due to Covid complications. He was just 5 years old. Benny and his twin, Marshall were born in Indianapolis, Indiana on December 14, 2017 to Stephanie Juanita-Irene Wolfe and Gregory Scott Bays. They survive.

Benny will be missed by his sisters, Melody Wolfe and Gibson Bays; twin brother, Marshall; maternal grandparents, Barry and Sharon Hawkins; great-grandmother, Toni McCluskey; paternal grandparents, Kevin Cullen (Abigail); great-grandmother, Dorothy Gibson; uncles, Daniel (Rayanna) Woodruff and Paul (Kelli) Bays; and many cousins.

Benny was a busy little boy who enjoyed music, Peppa pig, his pets, eating spicy food and sneaking food to the dogs. He liked playing outside, camping, swimming, and traveling to new places to explore. He also enjoyed school and his teachers, especially Miss Anna.

Benny loved hugs from his family and giving high fives. The world is a sadder place without Benny.

An open visitation for Benny will take place on Monday, April 10, 2023 from 4-6 p.m. at the McGann Hay, Granger Chapel (entrance off Cherry Rd.). The family is asking that bright clothes be worn.
