Carole Diane (Henning) Conners

Carole Diane Conners passed away on May 27, 2023, at the age 73 after a fierce and courageous battle with cancer.  She was surrounded by loved ones who will continue to honor her legacy by living their lives to the fullest.

Carole was born to John D and Patricia Sue Henning on October 21, 1949.   After high school, Carole married and had 3 children, 2 survive, Julie Carlo, and Ryan (Cati) Conners.  She had 7 grandchildren: Nicholas (Alex) Carlo, Austin (Breanna) Carlo, Matthew Carlo, Megan (Mat) Leach, Christopher (Khristina) Castetter, Colleen Conners, and Andrea Conners;  3 great- granddaughters, Katelynn Carlo, Savannah Carlo, and Tilly Castetter; and her sister, Sheri (Dick) Rahdert, and brother Greg (Ruby) Henning.

She was preceded in death by son, Paul in 2009; and brother, Richard Henning, in 2005,

Carole graduated from Purdue University in nursing, and in 1993 she finished her bachelor’s degree at Indiana University with her RN, BSN.  With her compassionate and caring personality and her dedication, she built a wonderful career in nursing which led her to labor and delivery, cardiology and her passion, ICU.

Carole had many hobbies and filled her free time with baking, sewing, gardening, and traveling.  Her favorite way to spend time was with her family and friends.  She enjoyed family gatherings with stories and laughter. She will be greatly missed and will forever be in our hearts.

Carole requested no funeral.  There will be a Celebration of Life held at a future date.
