Carolyn Ann (Klujsza) Bradley, 77, passed away peacefully at home, on Saturday July 11, 2026 surrounded by the love of her family.
Carolyn was born on July 25, 1948, in Gary, Indiana, to John and Dorothy (Farley) Klujsza. She married the love of her life, Joseph "JD" Bradley, on November 28, 1970, at the Basilica of the Sacred Heart in Notre Dame, Indiana. Together, they built a loving home and shared many wonderful years of marriage. She is survived by her husband Joe.
Carolyn’s greatest calling was being a devoted homemaker and mother. She dedicated her life to caring for her family, creating a warm and welcoming home, and supporting those she loved with unwavering kindness and generosity. She cherished her dogs: Arson, a Dalmatian, and Frank and Beans, her Jack Russell Terriers.
Carolyn found great joy in gathering with friends through her book clubs, hosting family and friends' celebrations and parties, tutoring students, and serving as a substitute teacher at the Montessori Academy at Edison Lakes in Mishawaka. She was a fantastic dancer and loved to be part of the party.
She will be lovingly remembered by her husband, Joe; her daughter, Katherine “Katie” (Erik Madsen) Bradley of New York, New York; her son, Conor (Chrissy) Bradley of Washington, D.C.; her brothers, Victor Klujsza of South Bend, Stephen (Deborah) Klujsza of Granger, and Thomas (Linda) Klujsza of Sacramento, California; along with many extended family members and dear friends whose lives were enriched by her compassion and gentle spirit.
The family would like to thank Caring Cove Hospice and Senior1Care for their compassionate and consoling care during the final days of Carolyn's life.
Carolyn’s legacy of love, hospitality, faith, and service to others will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew her. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, July 15, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. at St. Pius X Catholic Church in Granger. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 14, 2026, from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at McGann Hay University Chapel, 2313 Edison Road.
