Carson Kenneth Emery, 31, of South Bend, Indiana, passed away in Mishawaka, Indiana.
Carson was the son of Robert B. Emery and Tamara S. Emery. He was a 2013 graduate of Penn High School and went on to work in the RV industry for many years until he found his passion for work as a line cook at Tradewinds in Mishawaka.
Carson had a deep love for life’s simple joys. He enjoyed bowling, golf, disc golf, playing pool, video games, and darts. He cherished time spent with his friends and family and had a love for cars, taking great pride in keeping them clean and well maintained.
In Heaven, he joins his grandfather, Robert B. Emery; his grandmother, Sandra S. Chabera; and his sister, Christine M. Emery.
He is survived by his parents, Robert B. Emery and Tamara S. Emery of Mishawaka; his siblings; Heather Emery of Elkhart, Robert (Kaity) Emery of Union, Michigan, Brittney (Luke) Niespodziany of Mishawaka, Chace Emery of Mishawaka, Joseph (Allyssa) Emery of South Bend, and Shelby Lawton of South Bend; his paternal grandmother, Mary Emery of South Bend; maternal grandfather, Robert Chabera of North Liberty; his grandparents, James (Betty) Woody of North Liberty; Aunts; Patricia Anderson, of North Liberty, Corinna Emery of South Bend, Stacey Lawton of South Bend, and Marina Zolman of South Bend; Uncle John Emery of South Bend; and treasured cousins, Trevor Emery of South Bend and Aven Zolman of New York. He also leaves behind many beloved nieces and nephews; Emily, Kamdyn, Sydney, Hailee, Mariyah, Kaedyn, Kaniyah, Ella, Anna, Parker, and Violetta.
A visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 22, 2026 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at McGann Hay University Chapel, 2313 Edison Road, South Bend, Indiana, followed by the funeral service at 1:00pm with Pastor John Railton of Granger Family Bible Church.
Memorial contributions may be made to Ronald McDonald House Charities.
In honor of Carson, guests are encouraged to wear his favorite color - orange, or any bright spring colors to celebrate his life. Carson will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew him.
