Charles Willard Albaugh Sr., 70, of Edwardsburg, MI, passed away on January 16, 2026, at home with his family and dog, Amber.

Born on October 12, 1955, in Ft. Lauderdale, FL, he grew up in South Bend, IN, and graduated from Jackson High School in 1973. As a member of UAW Local 5, he worked as a painter at AM General for 20 years. He was an avid Notre Dame football fan and enjoyed spending time with friends on Juno Lake in Edwardsburg and Punta Gorda, Florida. He also enjoyed golfing and boating.

He is survived by his wife Lisa; children, Katy and Chuck Jr (Jenni); step-children, Stacey (Jeff) Lindsley, Joe Sullivan, and Chris (Hilary) Dew; grandchildren, Charles III, Henry, Wyatt, Zoë, Zoe, and Alex; brothers, Ron (Aida) and Bob (Mary Ellen) Albaugh, and many friends. He was preceded in death by his wife Cheryl, and parents Ronald, Sr. and Joan (Joni).

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 24th at 2:30 pm at McGann Hay Funeral Home, 2313 E. Edison Rd., South Bend, with visitation from 1-2:30 pm. Cremation will follow.
