David Charles Pozzi

David Charles Pozzi, 65, passed away at the Center for Hospice Care in Mishawaka, IN on Thursday, May 8, 2025.

His life began October 7, 1959, in Mishawaka, IN, the second of five children, to the late Robert and Jeanette Pozzi.

David is survived by his siblings: Barbara Pozzi of Mishawaka, Michael (Karen) Pozzi of Granger, Susan (John) Bonadies of Columbus, OH and Diane (Rick) Stanley of Granger, IN.

Nothing was more important to David than his family and friends including lifetime friends from the Clay High Class of '78. He was blessed with many longtime friendships including Linda, Chris, and Steve.

Dave spent his career cooking up wonderful meals at Maury's Pat's Pub, Riverside Terrace, Pejza's, Boar's Head, Golden Bear, and other local establishments. His earlier years were spent with Kirby Sales.

He loved music, the Indianapolis Colts, and watching all Notre Dame sports teams. He became one of the very first residents at Silver Birch Assisted Living in Mishawaka in 2019, and was a very active and involved resident. He served on the Resident Council, ran the General Store, and even appeared in a long-running TV commercial for the Center.

A Celebration of Life service and visitation will be held at McGann Hay, Granger Chapel, 13260 Sr. 23, entrance off Cherry Rd. on Friday, May 30, 2025 at 5:30pm with a gathering of friends and family beginning at 4:00pm.
