David Strom

February 19, 1959 — January 7, 2021

David Wilbur Strom, 61, entered eternal rest January 7, 2021 after a brief illness.
Born February 19, 1959, he was the son of Charles and Dolores Strom. His parents preceded him in death.
On May 12, 1984, David married Jane Overholser, who preceded him in death. To their union, they were blessed with 4 wonderful children: Nick (Alison) Strom of Gilbert, Arizona, Neil Strom of Portage, MI and Katie and Anthony Strom, both of South Bend. David is also survived by his sister, Deana Strom of Seattle, Washington; and five grandchildren, Jack, May, Declan, Charlotte and Maia. A devoted father, David will always be remembered for his dedication to his children and family. He was a kind and loving father with a great sense of humor. David was generous, always willing to give whatever he could, whenever he could, to anyone who needed him. His favorite activity in life was spending time with his family, especially his children. He formerly worked as an Auditor for the State of Indiana, where he excelled and loved his work. He was dearly loved and will be greatly missed.
A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Saturday, January 16th at St. Therese Little Flower Catholic Church, 54191 N. Ironwood Rd. South Bend, at 12 p.m. with visitation one hour prior. In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made in honor of David’s father, Charles Strom to The Wounded Warrior Project, P.O. Box 758516, Topeka, Kansas 66675-8516.
