Dr. Ronald Aigotti

October 16, 1933 — January 12, 2021

Dr. Ronald Aigotti, age 87, passed away in his home on Tuesday, January 12, 2021. He was the cherished husband of 56 years to the late Barbara Aigotti, who passed January 14, 2020; treasured father to four children; and grandfather of thirteen grandchildren. He was born to the late Charles and Louise (Esposito) Aigotti in Brooklyn, NY, on October 16, 1933.
Ron was a self-made man with a remarkable lifetime of accomplishment including his calling to become a physician, running 7 marathons and writing several books. He served as a physician in the army, became a pilot, travelled as often as he could, owned a farm with a menagerie of animals, gardened with great passion, hunted, fished and was an avid reader. He was gentle and loving while resolute and principled. Most importantly, he possessed a great sense of humor and complete devotion to his family.
He is survived by his four children, Diane Aigotti, Julianne Aigotti, Matthew Aigotti and Mia Aigotti Garcia, their spouses and his thirteen beloved grandchildren; Michael, Jessica, Samuel and Charlotte Satalic, Aidan Kaczmarek, Zachary, Isabelle and Mallory Aigotti and Mariano, Francesca and Sebastiano Garcia.
The family will hold a private service and he will be laid to rest next to his wife at St. Joseph Valley Memorial Park. A public service will be held at a later date.
