Esther Elizabeth Pasman beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was born on April 1,1925, to the late Alex and Mary (Kovac) Vargo, in South Bend, IN. She passed away on November 21st, 2024 at the age of 99 and 7 months.

There are not enough words to say about this truly remarkable woman. She was a wonderful, strong, amazing person. She was someone who could light up any room with her smile and by asking them to pose for a picture. No matter where she was or what she was doing she left you feeling loved in a way only she knew how.

She was a devoted wife of 70yrs to Frank S. Pasman, who she met at Our Lady of Hungry. Her passion for singing also drew her to the stage with her husband, where she delighted audiences with her beautiful voice. Esther and Frank were very active members of Little Flower Catholic Church.

She is survived by her loving children, Paul, Greg (Rose), Pasman and Mary Zielinski; her cherished grandchildren, Gregory (Andrea), Jason (Katie), Katie (Joe) Bella, Annie (Zielinski), Maggie (Zielinski), and TJ; and her great-grandchildren, Ethan, Quintin, Emily, Evan, Luke, Johnny and Joey (Bella). Her family was her greatest joy, and she took immense pride in each of their accomplishments.

Esther was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Frank, in 2015; her son, John, in 2003; and her three brothers and a sister. Their memories lived on in her heart, and she often shared stories of her life with them, ensuring they were never forgotten.

Family and friends are invited to pay their respects during the viewing held on November 25, 2024. A rosary will start at 4:45 PM followed by a viewing from 5:00 to 7:00 PM at McGann Hay Granger Chapel, 13260 SR 23, entrance off Cherry Rd, in Granger, Indiana.
