Ethel Mae Glueckert, 95, passed away on Thursday, June 26, 2025, at the Raclin House in Mishawaka, IN.
She was born April 9, 1930, in Berrien Springs, MI, to James and Addie (Jones) Hoover. Ethel worked as a communications clerk at Memorial Hospital in South Bend. She had a deep appreciation for antiques and took great joy in collecting and surrounding herself with them.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Dorothy Reidenbach of Jackson, MI and Mildred Johnson of Pomona, CA; and two brothers, James Hoover and Franklin Hoover, both of Berrien Springs, MI.
She is survived by her daughter, Cheryl Glueckert of Michigan City, IN; and three sons, Dr. John C. Glueckert, DDS, Niles, MI, Christopher D. Glueckert, and Keith A. Glueckert, all of South Bend, IN.
In addition, she is survived by her grandchildren, Angie Glueckert, Elle (Glueckert) Kurlinkus, Jake Glueckert, Erin (Glueckert) Steinfort, Jennifer Glueckert, Briana (Glueckert) Hoffman, Andrew Glueckert, Garrett Glueckert; and her great- grandchildren, Sydney Steinfort, Hudson Steinfort, William Henry Hoffman, and Jane Hoffman.
The family will be holding private services at a later date.
