Heather Montgomery

Heather I. Montgomery, 52, passed away on Tuesday September 29, 2026 at Memorial Hospital in South Bend, Indiana. She was born on August 17, 1974 in Elkhart, Indiana to Donald and Marla Samuels, Sr.

She is survived by her brother, Donald (Dannielle Bruder) Samuels, Jr.; her sister, Lisa (Aniceto) Hernandez; 9 nieces and nephews and 3 great-nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her grandparents.

Heather spent her life trying to find herself. During times of success, she had a great sense of humor and worked hard. Sadly, her addictions were too enticing. She succumbed to it and has now found the peace she was searching for so desperately.
