Malinda Sue Yoder

Malinda died peacefully in Indianapolis on March 18, 2021. She was born May 31, 1948 in Bremen, Indiana to Glenn and Esther (Martin) Yoder. She was named after her maternal grandmother.
Malinda grew up in the Centre Township area of South Bend, attended Riley High School, and graduated from Bethany Christian High School in Goshen. She attended Indiana University in Bloomington, and received LPN training and certification from IVY Tech. She worked as an LPN in the South Bend and Elkhart areas. Malinda had resided in Indianapolis since 2004.
Malinda was preceded in death by her father and mother. She is survived by her brother, Keith (Marilyn) Yoder of Carmel Indiana; her sisters, Bonita (James) Folkening of Ooltewah Tennessee, and Nancy Schaffer of Levittown Pennsylvania; and by numerous nieces and nephews.
She was a gentle and caring soul, well loved by her family and all who knew her.
Visitation with the family will be held 12:00-1:30pm on Thursday, March 25 at the McGann Hay, Forest G. Hay Chapel, 435 S. Ironwood Dr., South Bend, with a graveside service afterward at 2:30pm at the Olive Mennonite Church Cemetery, 61081 County Road 3, Elkhart.
