Naomi Lynn Bidlack, 55, of Mishawaka, IN, passed away on Saturday, November 11, 2023.
Naomi was born on November 4th, 1968 to parents, Alice Ferguson and Jack Harris. She graduated from Mishawaka High School in 1987. While Naomi lived the majority of her life in Indiana, she never forgot her roots in the wonderful wilds of West Virginia. After high school, she continued on her journey through the university of life.
In 1993, she met husband, Timothy Paul Bidlack, and the two were married. They raised two daughters: Jacqueline Nichole Duncan and Amy Marie Roberts, and loved many pets over the years. However, Naomi’s family extended far past her bloodlines.
Naomi had the widest heart, large enough to fit a community of children that she adopted as her own. Her house was always filled to the brim with laughter and cheer, as well as delicious smells of home-cooked meals. Naomi was a caregiver to those in her life, always giving of herself and never asking for anything in return.
Naomi was a family woman, an avid world traveler, and lover and teller of stories. One of her favorite frequent trips was back to her homeland of West Virginia, where she found herself still surrounded by family and loved ones. She delved into the adventures of books and media often, and she dearly loved the sci-fi series Star Trek. But while she couldn’t reach the stars, Naomi ventured across the globe to locales such as London, Paris, and Rome and returned with fascinating tales, but her favorite place to be, by far, was at home with her beloved family and pets.
Naomi is preceded in death by her parents, Alice Ferguson and Jack Harris. She leaves behind her loving husband of 30 years, Timothy Bidlack; two daughters, Jacqueline Nichole Duncan and Amy Marie Roberts; as well as two grandsons, Matthew Anthony Roberts and Zachary Armand Roberts. Also remaining to honor her memory are Naomi’s siblings, Randall Harris, Annette Harris-Moreno, and Rachel Chiaro.
The family is hosting a Celebration of Life event at the Cambridge Square Event Center at 239 W Catalpa Dr, Mishawaka, IN 46545 on Saturday, November 18th, 2023, from 11am to 3pm.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to 988 Lifeline.org, an institution dedicated to supporting those in need with suicide prevention. You can reach their donations page here: https://988lifeline.org/donate/
