Patricia Quigley Bodnar, 78, died unexpectedly at her home in Centerville, OH on April 21, 2026.
Patricia was born in South Bend, IN on April 7, 1948. She was a graduate of St. Joseph Catholic School and St. Joseph High School in South Bend. Patricia graduated from Duquesne University in Pittsburgh, PA with a degree in Mathematics. After college, job opportunities led her to the Dayton, Ohio area where she worked at the Wright Patterson Air Force Base and later at the NCR Corporation. As a longtime resident of Dayton Pat, built up a network of friends who liked to ski and with whom she did take several skiing adventures. Pat also tried sky diving...she said once was enough!
Patricia was divorced from Greg Bodnar and while she had no children of her own, she was the favorite Aunt Pat to her nieces and nephews. Pat was always ready to offer moral and financial support to her whole family.
Patricia was preceded in death by her parents, Arthur and Arlene Quigley and her brother Joe. Her brother-in-law Ted Price died shortly after Pat, She is survived by her sister Kathleen (David) Sullivan and her sister Mary Price and numerous nieces and nephews and cousins.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Joseph Church in South Bend, Rev. Father Michael Matthews, CSC, will officiate on August 7, 2026 at 11:30 a.m., with visitation held one hour prior to Mass at the church. Her cremains will be interred at St. Joseph Valley Memorial Park immediately following the funeral Mass.
