Ronnie R. York

Ronnie Ray York, 73, of Goshen, Indiana, passed away peacefully at his home on August 16, 2025.

Born to the late David Robert York and Della Staton York, Ronnie was also preceded in death by his twin sister, Bonnie Beckner, and his brother, Depree’ York.  

On July 13, 1982, Ronnie married the love of his life, Connie F. (Branch) York, who survives him. He is also survived by his loving sons, Christopher L. York of Goshen and David R. York of Goshen; his sisters, Dawn Dalton of Mt. Airy, North Carolina, Carlotta Gill of Sandusky, Ohio, Stella Maharan of Michigan, and Dee Sullivan (Joe) of Naples, Florida. He had 3 grandkids who meant more to him than anything - Christopher L. York JR, Amy Marie York and Savannah York.

Ronnie proudly served his country in the United States Navy where he was a Vietnam veteran. He enjoyed going out fishing, walking through the woods when he was able and got the chance, and sitting out in the sun!

He did what was needed to make sure his family was taken care of, and will be remembered for his strength and stubbornness. 

In keeping with Ronnie’s wishes, there will be no services. Cremation will take place at McGann Hay's American Cremation Society in South Bend.The family cherishes the memories they hold and invites others to remember Ronnie in their own special way.
