Listen to Obituary

Sandra Ann Stouder-Balbo, 73, went to her eternal rest on June 3, 2025, at her Granger home with her husband by her side. Sandra was born on April 28, 1952, in Elkhart, Indiana.

Sandra, known as Sandi to her many friends, had an active life. She was a business owner, avid golfer, animal lover, and Disney movie buff. In her youth, she was a barrel racer, and she maintained her love for horses. She had a unique sense of style, and she loved antique glassware, antique furniture, and knick knacks of all types. She traveled the world, and she loved to dance. Her infectious giggle and unyielding love for Christmastime and Hallmark ornaments will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

She is survived by her husband of 29 years, Dominic Balbo; son, Courtney Collins; daughter-in-law, Amanda Qualls; stepdaughter, Katherine Balbo; grandchildren, Abby Weaver and Bradyn Collins; and brother, Charles Stouder. She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Verna (Pippenger) Stouder.

Visitation will be held at McGann Hay, Granger Chapel, 13260 SR 23, Granger, Indiana on Saturday, June 14 from 10 to 11:30 am followed by a brief service.
