Steven Richard Didelot

Steven “Steve” Didelot, 56, passed away in his home April 7, 2025, from an apparent heart attack. Born March 28, 1969, he was the son of Richard Alfred and Mary (Marnell) Didelot. His father preceded him in death.

Left to cherish his memory are his mother, Mary Didelot of Edwardsburg; sister, Angi Jurkovic of Granger, IN; nephew, Mirko Jurkovic of St. Pete, FL; and nieces, Samantha Jurkovic of Granger and Claire (Reece) Treber, and their children, Mason and Niko, all of Mishawaka.

Steve attended Niles Senior High School. He enjoyed golfing and being outdoors. He loved his family, all animals and nature, and watching sports with his father. More recently, he was the full-time caregiver for his mother, Mary. Through his passing, he was able to fulfil God’s plan to help and save lives by being an organ donor, which overall shows the person he was. He lived a quiet life, but in the end, he was able to share his love and change people’s lives for the better.

The family will hold a private service.
