Ted Mullett

March 21, 1942 — September 7, 2021

Ted Mullett passed on to the next round of golf Tuesday afternoon surrounded by his family. He was born March 21, 1942 in Niles, Michigan. He went on to graduate from the University of Michigan in 1965 where his analytical mind found sense and purpose in accounting. After graduating, he rose through the ranks of KPMG for 33 years before eventually retiring in 1998, at which time he started consulting with many local businesses and philanthropic organizations.
That same mind loved spending time with his grandchildren and challenging opponents to his favorite games, bridge and cribbage. He met the yin to his yang, Sue O’Neill in 1966 and the two were soon inseparable. Married in 1967, Sue and Ted were blessed with three cherished children, Anna (Jim) King of Granger, IN, Jennifer (Chris McDougle) Mullett of Boston, MA, and Neill (Erin) Mullett of Miamisburg, OH. Also left to cherish his memory are his grandchildren Katelyn, Emily, Molly and Lucy Gerstenschlager, Owen King, Mason Lucas, Landon Mullett; and sister Linda (Kenneth) Schiele of Niles, MI. He was known for his generosity, wisdom, dry wit, and zest for life.
The family will be holding a visitation Friday, September 10th, from 5-7 pm at the McGann Hay, Granger Chapel, 13260 SR 23, enter off Cherry Rd. The family will hold a private memorial service.
