Thomas Rudasics

June 27, 1947 — March 19, 2026

Hilton Head Island

Thomas J. Rudascis, 78, set sail on his final voyage on March 19, 2026 in Hilton Head Island, South Carolina. Tom was born on June 27, 1947, in South Bend, Indiana to James and Betty (Lynn) Rudasics.

Tom graduated from South Bend Clay High School and Colorado State University. He had a successful career as a manager and executive in manufacturing.

Tom loved the water and found freedom and peace in boating and sailing journeys. Whether navigating choppy waters or enjoying a beautiful sunset, Tom felt truly alive when on the water.

Tom had a passion for Wheaton Terrier dogs and he believed that a home was never truly full without a wagging tail. Tom never had any children, but his dogs provided unconditional love and lots of kisses. Tom could spend countless hours walking and spoiling his fur babies.

Left to cherish Tom's memories are his brother, Randall (Kathie) of Timnath, Colorado; his nephew, James Harper of Valparasio, Indiana and his ex wife, Debbie Rudasics of Atlanta, Georgia. Tom was preceded in death by his parents, James and Betty Rudasics, his sister, Mary Rudasics Harper and his brother, Jeffrey Edward Rudascis.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you take your dog for a walk or give them some extra treats in Tom's memory.

Services will take place at 11:00 AM EST on Saturday April 4, 2026 at St. Joseph Valley Memorial Park, Granger, Indiana.
