Timothy A. Willis

Timothy A. Willis, 66, a beloved brother, uncle and friend passed away peacefully at home on the morning of Sunday, August 3, 2025.

He was born on July 14, 1959, in South Bend, IN to Joseph and Barbara (Kuespert) Willis, who preceded him in death. Tim, who was one of eight children, grew up surrounded by his large family. There was never a dull moment in the house.

Tim was a true patriot. He proudly served his country in 1978, stationed in Ft. Ord, California. He was honorably discharged. The then re-enlisted in 1991, where he was stationed in Saudi Arabia during the Gulf War. Tim was also a lifetime member of the Chain-O-Lakes Conservation Club. He was an avid football and NASCAR fan.

Tim is survived by his brothers; Richard Willis and Charles (Laurie) Willis, both of South Bend, IN, sister Barbara (Mick) Bowen of Walkerton, IN, sisters-in-law; Terri, the widow of his late brother Dave, and Norma, widow of his late brother Jack. Tim had no children of his own, but considered all of his nieces and nephews his own; Terresa, Tom, Tim, Terry, Tamera, Amy, Monty, Anne, Laura, Anthony, Michelle, Jack, Bobby, Holly, Rich, Mickey, Jason, Kaylee and Joe.

A celebration of life will be held from 2:00-5:00 PM on Sunday, August 10, 2025 at the Chain-O-Lakes Conservation Club, 26230 Southport Dr. South Bend, IN. 46628.
