Trudy Ellen Graham, 74 of Mishawaka, passed away on October 4, 2021 surrounded at home by family. Trudy was born on September 6, 1947 in Laporte, Indiana to the late Theo and Nola (Wiles) Ream. They have both preceded her in death, along with a sister, Glenda Ream; and brothers, Wesley Ream, and Earl Ream. She was also preceded in death by her longtime companion of 27 years, Leo Penrose.Trudy was raised in Teegarden, Indiana, where she also raised her 4 children. She graduated from Tyner High School, in Tyner, IN in 1965. She is survived by her four children, whom she loved and cherished: daughter, Theresa Freet of Rochester, IN; son, Duane (Vicki) Graham of Walkerton, IN; daughter, Jane (Jack) Tiller of Mishawaka, IN; and daughter, Mary Brooks of Grand Rapids, MI. She is also survived by a sister, Gwen (Randy Sr) Boocher of Bremen, IN; brothers, Leonard Ream of Westville, IN and Rodrick Ream of Walkerton, IN; and a special friend, Mary Nelson of South Bend, IN.Trudy, also known as grandma, or Gram Graham, is cherished by 10 grandchildren: Justine (Jay) Singleton, Julie Graham, Heather Freet, Dustin Freet, Sarah (Tim) Fall, Anthony Graham, Jenna (Brody) Delaruelle, Kylen Thomas, Bryana (Kendrick) Kesler, and Jaden Tiller; and 14 great- grandchildren: Shaniya, Braydon, Aailaia, Noah, Cyrus, Hollee, Ariel, Nora, Benjamin, Zayda, Elayna, Jaxon, Mackenzie, and Declan. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends, too many to mention by name.She worked for Kenny & Carl’s SuperValu in Walkerton for 25 years as a store manager. I don’t think she ever met a stranger. She was dedicated to providing great customerservice.
She enjoyed gardening, spending time at the lake cottage, and playing online games. She loved her dogs, and spending time with family and friends.
