Enrique Guzman Obituary

Enrique “Rick” Guzman Jr. passed away at the age of 79 on March 5, 2023. He was born January 2, 1944 in Harlingen, Texas to the late Enrique Guzman Sr. and Carlotta (Ibarra) Cardenas.

Rick is survived by his wife, Maria; children, Marie, Ricardo, Francisco and Rey Guzman; grandchildren, Nelson Sr. (Priscila) and Franky ( Kayla) and Henrietta Guzman; great-grandchildren, Arelie and Isabelle Hernandez and Nelson Yanez Jr; sister, Lupe Guzman; brother, Frank Guzman; and many other loving family members.

Rick was preceded in death by son, Enrique Guzman III.

Rick was the life of the party and always had a joke to tell or was pulling a joke on someone.

He enjoyed fixing things like the house, or cars and teaching others how to fix things as well. He was known for his pipe and tobacco.

Rick quit school at a young age to take care of his siblings. He loved his family and would do anything for them and anyone else. He was loved by all. He will be very much missed.
