Lorrie Ann Kennedy passed away unexpectedly on Monday, March 25, 2024 at the age of 58. She was born in Spangler, Pennsylvania to Ronald and Marion (Meckley) Gotwald on November 6, 1965.
Lorrie is survived by her husband of over 40 years, Stephen; sons, Adam (Erin) and Nicholas (D’Aeja) Kennedy; daughter, Stephanie (William) Powers; brothers, Richard, Michael and John (Melissa) White; sister, Betty (Brian) Shull; step-sister, Tricia (John) Waltman; step-brother, David Gotwald; granddaughters, Elliot and Avery Kennedy; grandson, David Powers; cousin Juanita (Paul) Roy; and many nieces and nephews.
Lorrie was a devoted mother and grandmother and enjoyed spending time with her family. She also enjoyed sewing and gardening, shopping, encouraging others and sharing her love for Jesus.
Honoring Lorrie’s generous wish, the gift of life was shared with multiple recipients through organ donation.
Funeral services for Lorrie will be held on Wednesday, April 3, 2024 at 11 a.m. at Summit Church, 1700 W River Rd. Niles, MI, with visitation beginning at 9 a.m. Burial will immediately follow at Mission Hills Memorial Chapel, Crematory and Gardens.
