Teresa Ann (Stark) Lamirand

Teresa Ann Lamirand ascended to be with her family at the age of 77, on April 3, 2023, in Chicago, IL. She was born in South Bend, IN on July 26, 1945 to the late George and Mary (McHenry) Stark.

Teresa is survived by her husband, Richard; their children: David, Joseph and Michele and Ann Marie Lamirand; grand-daughters, Elizabeth and Lily Lamirand; great-grandson, Alister James Lamirand-Eby; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded by sister and brother in law, Delores and Ed Berger; and brother and sister-in-law, Bob and Barb Stark.

Teresa graduated from Bethel College in 1989 with a BA in Human Resources Management. She was a member of Phi Theta Kappa National Honor Society. Teresa also won a scholarship for academic excellence, ranked 7th among 25,000 students. Teresa served as a member of the American Business Women’s Association, Council of Women Realtors and Michiana Business Women’s Association.

Teresa worked as a real estate Broker when she wasn’t raising her children. She was a singer/songwriter and wrote over 100 songs and sang at the Grand Ole Opry. She enjoyed watching Turner classic movies. Her favorites were Meet Me in St. Louis and Arsenic and Old Lace.

A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at St. Pius X Catholic Church, 52553 Fir Rd., Granger, on Saturday, April 15, 2023 at 1p.m. with visitation one hour prior.
